CTI Clinical Research Center COVID-19 Guidance for Patients & Visitors

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with the Ohio Department of Health and CDC recommendations for source control, the following changes to our check in procedure will be implemented at the CTI CRC:

  • One to three (1-3) days prior to your scheduled visit to the CRC, a CRC staff member will contact you to review a series of COVID-19 prescreening questions.  Based on your responses to these questions, your visit may need to be rescheduled.  You will also be asked to contact the CRC for any new respiratory symptoms such as cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or fever over 100.0 OR contact with a person known or suspected to have COVID-19 prior to your scheduled visit.
  • Upon arrival to the CRC, all visitors will be asked to remain outside of the CRC building and contact CRC staff by calling 513-568-1638.  A CRC staff member will ask you a series of COVID-19 prescreening questions and direct you to enter the first floor of the office building where you will undergo a temperature screen.
  • Visitors who clear the COVID-19 screening will be asked to perform hand hygiene using an alcohol based hand sanitizer and will be escorted into the CRC.  All visitors will be required to wear a face covering at all times while in the CRC facility unless specifically contraindicated by a medical condition.  Please plan to bring a face covering from home.  If you do not have a face covering, please notify a CTI CRC staff member upon arrival.
  • Clinical trial participants are asked to present to the CRC alone.  At this time the CRC cannot allow any individuals accompanying the participant in the CRC facility.

If you have any questions about any of the above information, please contact the CRC at 513-281-3868.
