FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE [Covington, KY ~ July 22, 2019] CTI Clinical Trial & Consulting (CTI), a multi-national, privately held, full-service contract research organization is proud to announce the recognition of Miranda Sheeks, Associate Director of Clinical Project Coordination at CTI, at the Northern Kentucky Young Professionals 10th Annual Next Generation Leadership Awards (NGLA). The awards were held on July 18 at the Newport Aquarium in Newport, KY.
Miranda was recognized as a finalist in the "Technology, Manufacturing, and Design" category. The NGLAs salute and applaud young professionals under the age of 40 for significant professional accomplishments, demonstrated leadership, and community impact.
"We are privileged to have Miranda on our team," remarks Kevin Schwarz, Chief Operating Officer at CTI. "Miranda started with CTI almost 15 years ago as a part of our Research Associate program, and we have enjoyed seeing her grow into the leader she has become. She has played crucial roles in the growth and success of our company, and we are thrilled to see this well-deserved recognition from the community."
Miranda joined CTI in 2005 in one of the most entry-level positions in the company, was promoted to CTI's first Clinical Project Coordinator, and has since grown to lead the Clinical Project Coordination team. In addition to growing this department, Miranda has also been instrumental in the development of many of CTI's clinical trial processes and systems. Miranda earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Miami University and her Master of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Northern Kentucky University.
