CTI Announces Additions to the Business Development and Clinical Project Management Teams

CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI), a multi-national, privately held, full-service contract research organization is pleased to announce the additions of Drs. Brian Bowers and Lisa Shapiro to the Business Development and Clinical Project Management teams, respectively.

Brian Bowers, PharmD - Business Development and Client Management, Real World Evidence

Brian comes to CTI with a strong background in real world evidence/health outcomes and economics research. Prior to joining the CTI team, Brian spent more than 25 years at GlaxoSmithKline working in clinical research, health outcomes and economics research, and medical governance/compliance. Brian earned both his Doctorate and Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Georgia.

"He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we look forward to all he will accomplish as the newest member of the team."


Lisa Shapiro, PhD - Director, Clinical Project Management

Lisa joins CTI with more than 20 years of experience in clinical research, project management and drug development, and a particularly strong background in oncology and immunology. Prior to joining CTI, Lisa held the roles of Executive Director, Global Drug Development at PRA Health Sciences and Director / Therapeutic Lead, Immunology at Abbvie INC. She also spent 16 years at Astellas functioning in advancing roles from Sr. CRA through to Director, Clinical Project Management and finally as a Therapeutic Area Lead in Oncology.  Lisa earned her PhD in Pharmacy/Neuroscience at the University of Illinois and her MA in Psychology at the University of Texas.
