CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services Announces the Promotions of Clinical Trials Directors
CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI), a multi-national, privately held, full-service contract research organization proudly announces the promotions of Brian Johnston and Tom Winrod to Directors, Clinical Trials.
"Brian and Tom have played integral roles in the successful execution of some of the largest and most complex programs in the history of CTI's clinical trials department," says Melanie Bruno, Vice President, Clinical Trial Operations. "As our business continues to expand, both will continue to play a pivotal role in the development of the department."
Brian Johnston, MS promoted to Director, Clinical Trials
Johnston has been with CTI since 2010, and has consistently contributed to the growth and development of both his immediate team and the department as a whole. He serves as a mentor to numerous team members, and is responsible for the management of multiple projects from beginning to end. In his new role, Johnston will continue to serve as a mentor to his team, manage multiple global projects, and be relied upon to bring viable solution sets to the clinical arena.
Prior to joining CTI, Johnston spent more than a decade with Procter & Gamble in progressively senior roles. Johnston earned his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Toledo.
Tom Winrod promoted to Director, Clinical Trials
Winrod joined CTI in 2013, and has since served as a primary senior interface on numerous projects, facilitating collaborations and communication between senior-level team members at CTI and our sponsors. He manages and facilitates management of his team's projects from the initial planning stages to analysis and final delivery to the client. In his new role, Winrod will continue to proactively manage multiple projects on a global level, serve as a mentor to numerous members of the CTI team, and be relied upon to bring a creative approach to the complex challenges inherent to the field of clinical research.
Winrod began his career serving as both a Nurse and a Physician Assistant in the hospital and in the field in the US Navy, and has been in Project/Study Management roles in the industry for the last 20 years. He earned his Physician Assistant training from the Field Medicine School of the US Navy and his RN from the Naval School of Health.
