CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services Announces James Maynard, MD has joined as Medical Director

CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI), a multi-national, privately held, full-service contract research organization announces James Maynard, MD has joined as Medical Director. Dr. Maynard is an experienced clinical researcher, with over 20 years of clinical experience, including direct patient care and serving as an investigator on more than 100 phase I-III clinical trials. Dr. Maynard is board certified in both neurology and sleep medicine.
Prior to joining CTI, Dr. Maynard worked as a research physician for over six years with Community Research, a clinical research network which was acquired by CTI in early 2014 and is now known as the CTI Clinical Research Center (CTI CRC). Dr. Maynard’s career in neurology and sleep medicine included serving as President of NKY Neurodiagnostics and Sleep Medicine Inc., through which he was also the director of the St. Luke Hospitals Sleep Centers, which later joined St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Before coming to the Cincinnati area, he had an active practice in neurology and sleep medicine as a partner of Midwest Neurology Associates S.C. in Decatur, Illinois, and as a member of a multi-specialty group at The Monroe Clinic in Monroe, Wisconsin.
Dr. Maynard earned his Bachelor of Science from Marquette University and Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he also completed his residency training in neurology. Dr. Maynard also served four years in the U.S. Navy and received the Navy Achievement Medal from The Secretary of the Navy.
