CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services Announces Expanded Capabilities in Global Drug Safety Processing and Reporting with Oracle® Argus Safety 7.1

February 1, 2013

CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI) announces its expanded capabilities in global drug processing and reporting services with the addition of Oracle® Argus Safety 7.1. Oracle® Argus Safety 7.1 is used to capture and process drug safety information from clinical studies and from drug products in the pre-clinical and marketed arena This system also allows for reporting of drug safety information to global regulatory authorities and provides CTI with the ability to establish sponsor-specific safety database set-up using the multi-tenancy feature in this newly released version of the Oracle® Argus software.

“With Oracle® Argus Safety 7.1 in place, CTI is looking forward to expanding drug safety processing and reporting services for our customers,” states Dr. Melanie Bruno, Vice President Clinical Operations at CTI. “The multi-tenancy feature also provides a cost savings to CTI customers, compared to other technologies, since each database can be set-up specifically for a customer without time consuming IT assistance. CTI can also specify the design of the system’s work flow in order to meet global regulatory safety reporting timelines.”
