CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI) was awarded the 2013 Goering Center Private Business Award. CTI was presented the award at the 14th annual ceremony, which took place August 27, 2013.
The Goering Center recognized finalists and category winners for their success in family and private business. An independent panel of judges, comprised of local business leaders, reviewed 550 nominees for the award, narrowed them down to 92 finalists, and then named winners in six categories (three family business and three private business), based on a company’s years in business. CTI was the winner for private companies in business 15 years or less.
“We are honored to be selected for this prestigious award, and are grateful to our clients, the 70 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, that currently work with CTI,” states Timothy J. Schroeder, President and CEO. “As we begin our 15th year in business, we would like to acknowledge the contributions of the CTI associates, who work in fifteen states across the United States and in fifteen countries around the world, helping to develop life-changing therapies for the critically and chronically ill.”
The Goering Center for Family & Private Business at the University of Cincinnati is a prominent educational resource center for family and private businesses. According to the Goering Center, “Family and privately owned businesses have a tremendous impact on the nation's total economic climate. In fact, they account for more than half the total employment, new job creation and Gross Domestic Product.”
