William Irish, PhD, has been appointed to the editorial board as Statistical Editor of the American Journal of Transplantation. Dr. Irish, Vice President of Health Outcomes and Biostatistics at CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI), is an internationally recognized expert in the areas of study design and analysis. He has been a leading resource in transplantation for more than twenty years, beginning as a faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh and continuing throughout his career in various biotechnology and pharmaceutical areas.
“This appointment recognizes Bill’s expertise in the field of transplantation and demonstrates the high regard in which he is held by others in the industry,” states Kevin Schwarz, Senior Vice President of Operations at CTI. “Bill has continued to expand his expertise, is leading new initiatives in the areas of health outcomes and regulatory interests, and is working with regulatory authorities at the FDA to establish novel trial designs for challenging patient populations.
