CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI) was recently honored by the Cincinnati Business Courier as a finalist for the 2010 Emerging International Business Award. This award was announced during the International Business Conference sponsored by Xavier University that was held on October 19, 2010, in downtown Cincinnati. CTI was honored along with five other companies in this category. Overall, only twenty-four companies in the tri-state area were honored for international business awards in various categories.
CTI has made expansion outside of the United States a priority and an integral part of its strategic direction. CTI previously completed an acquisition of Clinical Research Services (CRS), a clinical research organization located in northern Germany. As a result, CTI has an office in Hamburg, Germany which serves Northern Europe. CTI opened its European headquarters office in Ulm, Germany, strategically located between Frankfurt and Munich, Germany, and Basel, Switzerland. Basel is home to two of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. CTI also formed a joint venture, CTI Latin America, which is headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to serve the needs of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology communities in this region.
“A growing international presence is extremely important to CTI. More than twenty-five percent of our clients are now located outside of the United States, and many of our clinical trial and consulting projects include sites outside of the United States” indicated Patrick Earley, CTI General Manager.
