Clinical Services Project Management

Project Management

CTI’s global project managers have multiple years of industry experience, and vast clinical and therapeutic knowledge, especially in complex and critically ill patient populations. Many have previous experience as clinical research associates (CRAs), critical care nurses, and study coordinators at research centers. Our global project managers also have long-standing relationships with site personnel, which can be helpful with contract/budget negotiations and re-application of experience from previous trials. This leads to abbreviated ramp-up time for trials, due to familiarity. The average global project manager has long tenure with CTI, which allows for continuity on trials from start to finish. 80% of CTI studies meet or exceed enrollment expectations despite challenging patient populations, due in part to our excellent project management team.

CTI’s experienced global project managers are highly committed to their projects, and are dedicated to providing quality services, with a focus on timelines and budget. Our project managers will work with sponsors to continually assess timelines, look forward at upcoming milestones, maintain critical path activities, and provide overall guidance and leadership for the successful conduct of a given trial. CTI’s global project managers review budgets at regular intervals, identify future overruns early in the process, and consistently provide clear communication with sponsors regarding budgets.

Our global project managers understand that quality is of the utmost importance for any trial. All of the CTI clinical staff goes through extensive therapeutic training, including global standard operating procedures (GSOPs), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and study specific training on an ongoing basis and at the beginning of each study. Internal audits by CTI’s Quality Assurance team are also done in conjunction with the project manager to ensure that training is completed.
